Blackpool Tower was finally built in 1894 and opened it’s doors for the first time on the 14th May, it’s 380 feet high and is lit up by 25,000 eco friendly lights and is a Grade 1 listed building.
The tower is the home of Mooky the clown and the most wonderful Tower Circus. Don’t miss the stunning Victorian ballroom which is still enjoyed daily. Take the lift up the tower to experience the 4D cinema show and brave the Sky Walk on the glass floor. The Dungeon is not to be missed, go back in time and experience Blackpools dark and riotous past before you are hanged….And lastly Jungle Jims for the little ones, giant slides and ball pools in the Lost City they will love it.

Blackpool Illuminations is Blackpool’s annual spectacular FREE light show, it all began on the 19th September 1879 with only 8 bulbs, now there are over 1 million bulbs stretching 10 kilometres, it begins at the end of August with the big Switch On and ends on the second Sunday of November.
Blackpool Zoo is set amid 32 acres of maturing parkland and lakes, the award winning Blackpool Zoo is home to over 1500 beautiful, rare and exotic animals from all around the world. A wonderful day out for all the family.

Sandcastle Waterworld is a family and disabled friendly, award-winning attraction, with a subtropical climate at a constant 84°F. The park offers two 300ft Gentle Giant water slides and the Typhoon Lagoon wave pool, don’t worry if you have forgotten your swim suit, you can hire one.
